Tin Woodsman - Wizard of OZ

Hooray for not being on a post-it or a napkin today! No promises on tomorrow... or if I'll even do one. But, for today, it's the Tin Woodsman from the magical land of OZ! (I won't mention that this started off as a sketch on a post-it then, shall I? Nah...)

I dunno, I kinda like this one. I have trouble with drawing mechanical people, (is that PC? Is Robo-Americans more appropriate?) but me-likey.

Kind of kept to the "feel" of the Tin-man from the classic movie, I think, but made him a little more "bits and pieces". At the last minute, I had the idea that the heart was actually a coil, or bent piece of metal, that the wizard fashioned into a heart shape.

And I like his bowtie. A sheet of metal cut into the shape and screwed in.

Screwed in bowties are cool...
