Daily Sketch Challenge - 03/02/11 [link] :
Alien Xenomorph
The title for this one comes from not only being afraid of this sucka, but I was afraid to draw him. I did do some research on an entire picture, because I knew I wanted to draw the whole creature. So I did use reference, but the pose is mine.
What surprised me is that the hardest part was figuring out the tail. What I wanted to do made it too long, and, with the spines on top at the end, it couldn't move the way I wanted.
But, it came out looking alright. I'll post a color later.
