So...
It's been a while since I've posted something other than a sketch, and even longer that it's been a Doctor Who drawing.
But, here is a long one in the making.
The Doctor Dances... A boy and his box... The Doctor in the Tardis. The same thing, inspired by the Series 6 episode "The Doctor's Wife" by Neil Gaiman.
I wanted a sort of "aura" to the Tardis, to give her a sense of power and of her being "alive". And, as Who fans know, the double hearts have a double meaning in this pic. They represent the love the Doctor and the Tardis have for each other, but also for the two hearts of a Time Lord.
Even though this has taken me a long time to do and figure out, it is pretty close to what I had in my head when starting out. I hope you like this one.
The new season starts next Saturday, so I needs ta get ready for more Doo-dles!

buy the shirt! it's worth it and doug is one very amazingly talented artist! seriously... it's worth the money.
even if you don't like doctor who, which you should... it's on netflix streaming, so you have no excuse not to check it out, either way, no excuse not to buy the shirt. it's awesome. when i have more money, i'm buying one, and i'm not just saying it because i'm the president of doug's fan club...
